Upwork Goldmine terms

Terms and Conditions

These Terms explain what Goldmine does, what it does not promise, how subscriptions and refunds work, and what you remain responsible for while using the extension on Upwork.

1. Who we are

Upwork Goldmine, also called Goldmine or UG in these Terms, is a browser extension and website owned and operated by Imayan Digital LLP. Our registered/operational address is 458/B Saddam Hussain Street, Pudhupattinam, Kalpakkam, Chengalpattu, Tamil Nadu 603102, India.

Goldmine is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or connected to Upwork.com or any Upwork company. Upwork is a third-party platform with its own terms and policies.

2. Acceptance of these Terms

By installing, opening, signing in to, paying for, or using Goldmine, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use Goldmine.

3. What Goldmine does

  • Goldmine filters visible Upwork job search results using client and job signals available in your browser.
  • Goldmine picks are starting points for your review. They are not guarantees of interviews, offers, earnings, payments, or client quality.
  • Goldmine may show regular picks, Gold Star priority signals, manual-look picks, and fresh-active client opportunities. These labels are workflow aids that help you decide what to review first.
  • For newer clients with little history, Goldmine may keep a job only when the visible rate or budget clears your floor and recent client activity suggests the job is still warm.
  • Goldmine can miss good jobs, keep jobs that are not right for you, or behave differently if Upwork changes its pages, loading behavior, layout, policies, or security checks.
  • Upwork, Chrome, payment providers, or other third-party systems may add verification, rate-limiting, security, or availability checks that interrupt, slow, limit, or block Goldmine features.
  • Features such as pausing, hiding progress, or resuming are best-effort controls to keep you in charge when a page needs manual attention. They are not a promise that Goldmine will work through every future platform change or security check.
  • The Pursuit Board, notes, history, weekly targets, cleared/dropped markers, and feedback tools are productivity aids. They are not official records of Upwork activity, billing, contracts, client messages, or legal obligations.
  • You remain responsible for reading the full Upwork job post, checking client fit, following Upwork rules, writing your own proposal, and deciding whether to spend connects or accept work.

4. No work, income, or opportunity guarantee

Goldmine is a decision-support and productivity tool. It does not guarantee that you will find jobs, receive interviews, win contracts, earn money, save connects, avoid bad clients, or outperform any other freelancer.

You agree that you will not claim damages from us for missed jobs, hidden jobs, filtered-out jobs, delayed page loading, stale links, incorrect stats, Pursuit Board errors, notes not saving, technical downtime, Upwork page changes, or decisions you made after using Goldmine. Always use your own judgment before spending connects, submitting proposals, accepting interviews, or taking work.

5. Your responsibilities

  • Do not use Goldmine to violate Upwork's terms, bypass security, scrape restricted data, overload pages, or automate prohibited actions.
  • If Upwork, Chrome, a security or verification provider, or another third party shows a login, challenge, verification, consent, or security check, you must handle it manually and only in ways allowed by that provider.
  • Do not reverse engineer, resell, copy, attack, interfere with, or bypass paid access to Goldmine.
  • Do not share your account, trial, complimentary access, or subscription in a way that avoids payment or abuses refunds.
  • Do not enter sensitive personal data, client secrets, passwords, payment details, health data, government IDs, or confidential third-party material into notes, feedback, or feature requests.
  • Do not rely on Goldmine as your only source of opportunities. If time permits, review remaining Upwork results too.

6. Accounts, trials, and complimentary access

You sign in with your email address and OTP. Free trials are intended for one use per email/account. Complimentary access, if shown or granted, is discretionary, one-time unless stated otherwise, and may be withdrawn or limited if we detect misuse, duplicate accounts, refund abuse, or technical abuse. Complimentary access is intended for genuine hardship or extended evaluation cases and may be subject to daily availability limits.

Free trials, complimentary access, and promotional access may be limited, paused, changed, or withdrawn based on availability, operational capacity, abuse prevention, partner-service limits, legal requirements, or product-stage decisions. Paid subscriptions remain available when supported by our payment provider.

You are responsible for keeping access to your email account secure. Actions taken while signed in to your Goldmine account may be treated as actions by you.

7. Pricing and billing

Goldmine's free trial is meant to help new users test the full product before subscribing. When trial spots are available, eligible new users can start a 7-day free trial without adding a payment method. Trial spots may be limited each day so we can keep the service reliable, prevent abuse, and support users properly as Goldmine grows. After the trial or complimentary access period, continued premium use requires a paid subscription. Goldmine may offer more than one billing currency. The currently displayed monthly options are US$9 / month for USD billing and ₹740 / month for INR billing, unless a different price is shown at checkout.

Paid subscriptions are processed by Razorpay. We do not store your card, UPI, bank, or payment instrument details on our servers. Razorpay may apply its own authentication, fraud checks, mandates, payment rules, and settlement timelines.

We may keep subscription, invoice, payment-reference, refund, cancellation, support, dispute, and product-access records for billing, tax, accounting, fraud prevention, refunds, chargebacks, payment-network rules, Razorpay or banking partner requests, regulatory requests, and legal claims. Some payment and dispute records may need to be retained for up to 10 years where required by law, payment-network rules, or payment-provider requirements.

USD and INR plans are separate fixed subscription prices, not live exchange-rate conversions of each other. You choose the billing currency before checkout, and the shown price for that currency applies. If your card issuer, bank, payment network, or payment method applies its own conversion rate, foreign transaction fee, local charge, or tax, that is handled by them or Razorpay. Razorpay will show the payable amount before you confirm payment.

8. Subscription cycle and cancellation

A monthly subscription is based on the billing cycle created by Razorpay for your subscription, not on a calendar month. You may cancel auto-renewal from the billing page when available. If you cancel without requesting a refund, access normally continues until the end of the paid cycle.

9. Cancellation and refund policy

Refund requests apply only to your latest paid charge, not to older billing cycles. If you request a self-service refund within 7 days of your latest charge, we refund the subscription amount minus a 10% non-refundable processing and administrative fee.

Self-service refunds are limited to 1 per account. Once a refund is processed, the paid subscription tied to that charge is cancelled and premium access from that charge ends. Repeated subscribe-refund patterns, duplicate accounts, suspected abuse, chargeback misuse, or policy violations may lead to denial of future refunds or account restriction.

Refunds are sent back to the original payment method through Razorpay and the banking/payment network. They usually appear within 5 to 7 working days, but your bank or payment method may take longer. For edge cases, write to imayandigital@gmail.com with transaction details.

For billing, refund, cancellation, access, or payment-dispute questions, contact us from your Goldmine account email and include the invoice, payment, or subscription reference if available. Razorpay, banks, card networks, auditors, or regulators may ask us for transaction, subscription, support, or product-access records when handling disputes, refunds, fraud checks, chargebacks, or compliance reviews.

10. Changes, availability, and third-party dependency

Goldmine depends on Chrome, Upwork pages, Supabase, Razorpay, Resend, Vercel, and other infrastructure. Features may change, pause, fail, or become unavailable. We may update, remove, rename, limit, or redesign features if needed for security, compliance, performance, product quality, or platform changes.

Goldmine is a user-directed productivity aid for reviewing visible job search results. It is not designed to defeat login screens, verification prompts, access controls, anti-abuse systems, or other third-party security mechanisms. We may pause, limit, redesign, or remove features when needed to keep Goldmine respectful of third-party systems and user-controlled operation.

Goldmine is operated by a small team and is priced as a lightweight software subscription. We make reasonable efforts to keep the service stable and to respond to support, billing, refund, and privacy requests, but we cannot promise instant human support, continuous availability, or custom handling for every workflow. If support volume is unusually high, requests may be handled in a reasonable priority order, with payment, access, security, privacy, and refund issues treated as higher priority.

11. Notes, feedback, and feature suggestions

You keep responsibility for notes, feedback, feature suggestions, and other text you enter. Use these fields only for productivity. Do not add secrets, private client material, sensitive personal data, or information you do not have the right to store. You grant us permission to store and process this content to provide the service, sync your board, troubleshoot, and improve Goldmine.

12. Intellectual property

Goldmine, including its design, code, name, workflows, copy, and product experience, belongs to Imayan Digital LLP or its licensors. You receive a limited, revocable, non-transferable right to use Goldmine for your own freelance workflow while your access is valid.

13. Warranty disclaimer and liability limit

Goldmine is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties of accuracy, uninterrupted operation, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, merchantability, and business results.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim related to Goldmine is limited to the amount you paid us for Goldmine in the three months before the event giving rise to the claim, or one current monthly Goldmine subscription price in the billing currency you selected, whichever is higher. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, punitive, consequential, lost-profit, lost-opportunity, lost-data, lost-connects, or business-interruption damages.

14. Suspension or termination

We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms, misuse refunds, attempt to bypass access, create duplicate abuse patterns, create security risk, or use Goldmine in a way that could harm us, other users, Upwork, or third-party systems.

You may stop using Goldmine at any time. You may also request account deletion by contacting product support from your Goldmine email address. We will handle deletion requests under our Privacy Policy and applicable law, while retaining limited records where needed for billing, tax, accounting, security, refund, consent, fraud-prevention, or dispute purposes.

15. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Subject to applicable law, courts with competent jurisdiction in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India will have jurisdiction. Before filing a claim, please write to us so we can try to resolve the issue in good faith.

16. Shipping and delivery

Goldmine is a digital software subscription. No physical goods are shipped. Access is delivered digitally after installation, sign-in, trial activation, complimentary access, or successful payment, depending on your state.
